A Classic. Because of its walnut taste, flaxseed oil goes well with slightly sulphur-laden foods, like cheese, fish, yogurt, egg or cottage cheese. A real traditional way of using flaxseed oil is mixing it with cottage cheese and having potatoes boiled in their jacket.

Ingredients

  • 6 middle size potato
  • 500 g cottage cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • fresh chives
  • 4 spoons of flaxseed oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Cook the potatoes in salty water. Mix the cottage cheese with milk and the oil until it becomes smooth and creamy.Cut the onion and the chives to bits add it to the cream, season it with salt and pepper. Peel the cooked potatoes and cover them with the cream. You can serve it with salad -naturally with a flaxseed dressing.
