Our roasted sesame oil is unrefi ned virgin oil obtained by pressing toasted sesame seeds. It contains essential fatty acids (omega 6) and Vitamin E, lecithin and waxes which are lost in oil that is industrially processed and then refi ned. Its golden brown colour and rich fl avour make it a popular oil in Asian and in particular Macrobiotic cuisine. It is ideal for stir frying but also as a salad oil.
